Montreal, Canada, July 28, 2008 – TelcoBridges™ Inc., the preferred hardware and software supplier for telecom solution developers, and VSC Solutions, today announced that they are helping Philippine Global Communications (PhilCom) expand the capacity and flexibility of its telecommunications services by implementing VSC’s VS3000 eXpress Media Gateway solution, which is based on TelcoBridges award-winning hardware platform.       

Established in 1924, PhilCom is the Philippine’s largest and most prominent operator, providing voice and data services to consumers and enterprise companies, as well as Telex services to the financial services industry.  New subscriber growth, plus the desire to expand PhilCom’s “Voice Connect Plus” VoIP service, prompted the company to search for a new solution that could integrate its legacy equipment with a more efficient means to carry IP traffic. 

To implement this new solution, PhilCom turned to VSC, a leading solution developer with extensive experience implementing IP-based solutions for Next Generation Networks and IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS) architectures.  VSC responded by providing the VS3000 eXpress Media Gateway, which utilizes the TelcoBridges’ Tmedia TMP6400 hardware.
