TelcoBridges Wins “Best of Show” Award at ITEXPO West 2008

TelcoBridges™ Inc., the preferred hardware and software supplier for telecom solution developers, today announced that its Tmedia TMG3200 has received a “Best of Show Award” at Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®)’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference and EXPO West 2008.  This is the second time that a TelcoBridges product has won a best-of-show award in the “Best Service Provider Solution” category at ITEXPO.   

TelcoBridges Tmedia TMG3200 is a pre-packaged and ready-to-deploy media gateway, used by some of the largest operators in the world.  It is widely considered to be the highest density platform on the market - providing 2048 universal VoIP channels, with up to 64 T1/E1, triple DS3 and STM-1 support in each 1U box.  It is the most efficient platform on the market - requiring less than 0.06 watts of power per channel, which is 30%-80% more efficient than competitive media gateways. 

Last week at ITEXPO, TelcoBridges enhanced Tmedia via the new ToolPack System Manager, which enables high-availability and in-service upgrades by monitoring the integrity of software sub-systems, detecting faults, and automatically switching over to standby components, without any loss of service or adverse effects on transient calls.
